About Me

Everything you need to know about me can be summed up in two words: Renaissance Man. Yes, like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Simoni, and Raphael Urbino. No, not the Ninja Turtles. At some point in my life, I've been all of the following. Second year law student. Photographer. Atherosclerosis researcher. Copywriter. Law journal editor. Tech buff. Computer builder. Architecture aficionado. Guitarist. Watch lover. Reader. Apple user. Automotive enthusiast. Website designer. Movie watcher. Top Gear evangelist. And that’s only the half of it.

My Photos

We don't get much snow in Newport Beach, so one (wealthy) homeowner decided to import some for his own snowman to really go wild with the Christmas cheer. Those who can't afford it--lights work just fine.

New at UCLA

I like to swing by my old alma mater from time to time just to scope out the new construction. Only an hour away and always worth the drive. And bulidings are always fun to try new HDR techniques on.

Where the Way Fares

Took my very first trip to the Wayfarer's Chapel a few months ago. Lived in LA all that time and never made it all the way to Palos Verdes. Guess missing out on such beauty was the biggest drawback from public transportation.

Green is Good

Those who know me know I'm not the biggest fan of taking nature pictures. Sure, I'll do a landscape from time to time, but I'll always be the most passionate about buildings and people. A bit of green is good.

Last summer felt like I was keyed in to a military vibe. From aircraft carriers to vintage plane museums, military images dominated my photography for months.
